Carlos Lahrssen, Managing Partner

 

Mr. Carlos Lahrssen founded LD TeleCom in March of 1999 and has served as Managing Partner since its inception. 

 

Prior to joining LD TeleCom, Mr. Lahrssen served as Senior Business Developer for Technology Applications at StarCom Communications, which was later sold to Globaltron Communications. 

 

Mr. Lahrssen has over 23 years of experience in computer and next generation telecommunication’s VoIP Applications including enterprise solutions, carrier products, broadband, and wireless products. At StarCom he architected and managed the development of a wide range of VoIP products. His expertise includes hardware and software management, architecture of high-performance Voice Applications, and design for Global Enterprise Voice Solutions (GEVS),  pioneering in 2000 the Network-Based Enhanced Voice service applications for the enterprise. Mr. Lahrssen also served as President of Three Way Investments (TWI), a Real Estate Development company based in Miami, Fl., which was successfully sold in 1998. 

 

Mr. Lahrssen holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Financial Engineering from Florida International University. Mr. Lahrssen has also completed necessary courses for deployment and management of IP Telephony Gateways, in Redwood City, CA. and Richardson, TX. Mr. Lahrssen has successfully sold and acquired successful telecom companies in different areas of service. Mr. Lahrssen successfully founded Nexogy, Inc in 2003, a CLoud-Based Hosted PBX Service Provider which was later sold in 2020.

Pablo Bedoya, Chief Technology Officer

 

Mr. Bedoya, has been in the telecommunications industry for more than 15 years in Strategic and Executive management positions, directing operations in more than 12 countries in Latin America. 

 

Mr. Bedoya's expertise extends to financial planning and operation in projects of over US $10M. Mr. Bedoya has a degree in Electrical Engineering, a Master's Degree in Business Administration from New York University, a Master's Degree in Digital Transformation and Business Intelligence (BI) from the Panamerican Business School and is certified by the Project Management Institute (PMI) in Agile and Scrum Master.

Norman Chaves, Country Manager, Costa Rica

 

Mr. Chaves has more than 30 years of experience in the industry of

Telecommunications. He has worked for companies such as Cable Color Televisión, Grupo

Amzak, (Amnet Television) and Millicom International Cellular (TIGO).

 

During his career, he has held the commercial and sales divisions for both the

residential business (B2C) and Corporate Business (B2B). He has participated

actively in the strategic management and new businesses development in Costa Rica and

Central America.

 

Mr. Chaves was responsible for over 7 years for the Corporate Affairs Directorate of Tigo

Costa Rica, establishing government social and private responsibility as well as the external communication of the organization.

 

He has been an active member in various Guild Chambers of the Sector, such as INFOCOM,

AMCHAN and CAMTIC. He has held different positions on the INFOCOM board of directors, as well as coordinator of the Infrastructure Commission of said Chamber. He is representative

of INFOCOM in the Infrastructure Commission of the MICITT (Ministry of Science

Technology and Telecommunications).

 

Mr Chaves currently holds the position of Country Manager for LDNetworks in Costa Rica.

Mr. Chaves is an Agricultural Economist, graduated from the University of Costa Rica and has

an MBA from the Universidad Latina de Costa Rica.
