WiFi 6 vs. WiFi 5


Internet connectivity is essential, and choosing the right technology can make a big difference to the user experience. In this article, we will explore the differences between WiFi 6 and WiFi 5, and analyze the changes that this new generation of wireless networks will bring.


1. What is WiFi 6 and how does it compare to WiFi 5?


WiFi 6, also known as 802.11ax, is the latest version of the WiFi standard, designed to offer higher speeds, better efficiency and the ability to handle multiple connected devices. On the other hand, OFDMA divides each WiFi channel into smaller sub-channels, allowing data from multiple devices to be transmitted simultaneously. This results in reduced latency and a smoother network experience, especially in environments with high device density, such as smart homes and offices.
